Studio Policies

Welcome to The Piano Lab. To maintain the highest standard of musical excellence and ensure a consistent learning environment, the following policies have been established.

Tuition & Payment Terms

Payment Structure

  • 4-Week Blocks: Tuition is payable in 4-week blocks.

  • Due Date: Payment is due in full at the first lesson of each 4-week cycle.

  • Tuition Rates: Fees correspond to the specific program selected ($200–$400 per 4-week block).

Accepted Payment Methods

  • Zelle (Preferred)

  • Venmo

  • Check

  • Please note: Cash payments are not accepted.

Refund Policy

  • Non-Refundable: All tuition payments are non-refundable.

Attendance & Rescheduling Policy

  • 24-Hour Notice: Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or schedule changes.

  • No-Show Policy: Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours' notice or no-shows will be charged for the session and are not eligible for make-up lessons.

  • Teacher Absence: If I need to cancel a lesson, a make-up session is strictly guaranteed.

Studio Schedule

  • Year-Round Weekly Lessons: To ensure steady musical progress, lessons are held on a consistent weekly basis throughout the year.

  • Family Travel & Events: We understand that family vacations and special events are important. You may skip a scheduled lesson for these reasons as long as 24 hours' notice is provided.

  • Flexible Credit System: With proper notice, your lesson credit will simply carry over to the following week. This shifts your next 4-week payment cycle accordingly, ensuring you only pay for the lessons you receive.

Practice Instrument Requirement

To ensure success in our curriculum, students must have access to a quality instrument for daily practice. An acoustic piano is highly preferred. If using a digital piano, it must have 88 weighted keys and a sustain pedal.

Enrollment & Termination

Eligibility: We welcome dedicated students aged 5 and above.

Withdrawal: A 30-day written notice is required for withdrawal from the program.
